Title: Hawks and Panthers Deal
Post by: PsychoticPondGoons on February 04, 2017, 04:02:57 PM
Hawks agree to a deal with Florida to add a young gun on the blueline that has a bright future. He's also got a cheap cap hit. Cap space is gold so we coughed up a little to make this happen.

:FLO: To Florida
D Mattias Ekholm, $1.5m (2014-2017)
MiLR D - Kyle Wood (2014: 3/84 - 0 Games)

FOR

:CHI-NHL: To Hawks
D Josh Manson, $0.2m (2016-2018)
Round 4 - 2017  (from :FLO:*; originally :LAK:)

Easy & quick. That's what I like. Thx PR! :toast:

:iatp: This was a good offer we couldnt turn down. Wood is a great prospect and worth the slight cap uptick. Good depth move for us now and down on the farm.
