This is a basic understanding in virtually every fantasy league on this site. I noted this in a league-wide PM I sent out on January 8th. Under no circumstances is anyone allowed to edit a bid.
No one wants anyone to be subjected to a heavy handed penalty (like disqualification from further bidding on that player), but please understand the "Pandora's Box" that is opened when someone does this.
A GM may do it with good intentions, but how is anyone to know? Was it done to reduce a bid? Increase a bid? Or done knowingly so a GM would be relieved of an obligation to that player? Regardless of the reason, editing a bid is not allowed. I am not accusing anyone of misconduct, nor am I attempting to shame anyone, I just believe we have to follow some basic protocol or we are going to have issues evolve that could easily be avoided.
Again, so it's clear, a posted bid is final, so please take care in posting future bids.

I edited one on my bid for Vladimir Gutierrez where I left off the (PC) + salary. It was 30 seconds after I bid when I modified. Simple goof. I don't know if you're referring to me either. Just wanted to be clear if it was me. Happy bidding boys!

Just a general announcement that everyone needs to take to heart. My advice to everyone in your predicament is to simply make another post, like Ginstwin has on a couple of occasions, with the correct information.

I made same mistake. I should have made separate post. I edited my 2 posts to add team player played for not bid

When in doubt or if you make a mistake, omit info, etc, contact me or Flash. That will remove any doubts.

As with kidd5jersey, this is simply a reminder, and not intended to cast aspersions towards anyone. None of us are perfect, we all make mistakes, but within our league, there has to be some basic guidelines we all have to follow. No harm, no foul. It's now clear to everyone and we can now just move on.

Most definitely. I think we are all trying to be honest here.
