Title: Hawks and Ducks Deal
Post by: PsychoticPondGoons on January 29, 2017, 10:44:37 AM

Hawks pickup a warm body on the blueline.

Traded to Anaheim :ANA:
Round 3 - 2017  (from :CHI-NHL:)

Traded to Chicago :CHI-NHL:
D Christopher Tanev, $1.0m (2015-2017)

Good easy going trade. Thanks Gr8O!

Anaheim agrees to the trade.

Just like with Sbisa, Tanev was only going to be a rental for when we traded for him and was never in our plans for the future so to get another draft pick is a big bonus.

The 3rd round pick adds more depth and hopefully another upgrade to our list of minors.

Thanks PPG for the easy trade.

:thumbsup::iatp: Ducks win given Tanev doesn't have as much value as a 3rd RD pick imo He's 27yo and never shown much of a ceiling.

:iatp: I would tend to agree with the statement by Burkes Boys. Still a trade that helps both teams.

I will give the Edge to Anaheim as a 3rd Round Draft pick has more value in my humble opinion.
