I am giving up a mid 2nd for a starter on my squad. This still leaves me 1 short for D, but I like adding a player that can help me. I view him as a rental here, but who knows. With a full roster, it made sense to trade my latest pick remaining for instant help. Still got a few more holes, but GL to division mate Ducks.

Sorry for the late response, been trying to get over the flu.

Anaheim does agree to the trade.

Sbisa was never in our future plans so we were happy to get something for him.

The second round pick only adds to the number of round 2 picks we already have along with our other picks to replenish and upgrade our minor league system.

Thanks for the trade Oilers and hope he does well for you this year as a possible one year rental.

:iatp: Any time a franchise can pick up resources to build towards their plan it is a win. In this trade both franchises clearly benefit.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::iatp: Another good trade here. Both guys win imo. Sbisa still has a ceiling to reach for while 2nd RD picks are always good to own, the more the merrier.
