Post by: EndGame on January 17, 2017, 12:17:00 PM
Oh man. We cashed in some younglings to gets some players to fill the active roster. Parting company with Brock Boeser wasn't originally part of the plan but it helped get the deal done.

To Sharks
Gabriel Landeskog, $7.5m (2014-2018)
D - Oliver Kylington (2015: 2/60 - 1 Games)
RW - Brock Boeser (2015: 1/23 - 0 Games)
Round 2 - 2017  (originally :COL-NHL: )

To Ottawa
Brian Campbell, $1.8m (2014-2017)
Matt Moulson, $1.3m (2016-2018)
Nick Leddy, $4.6m (2015-2018)

Good working with IndiansNation!

:iatp: I'll agree with BB. Though the players heading to the Sens will provide good depth.

:iatp: Well done. This is a trade that works well for both teams. I am partial to the players heading to San Jose.

This is a classic trade where Ottawa Wins immediately while the Sharks Win (by a landslide) as soon as next season. Campbell is almost a rental given his age, Moulson is a case of 'Sell High' and Landeskog is a classic 'Buy Low.'

Campbell is a rental.
He might also be a great Dman for a team in the thick of the playoff race.

Moulson is great when he's on his game. Imagine if Buffalo trades him out of Buffa-HELL!! Money!
Got to love the dual LW/RW flexibility.

Landeskog is a young stud who's having one of him worst seasons. A buy low player? Hell yeah! Good for SJ but I don't have the patience to wait out Bednar's Crapty coaching.

Ottawa needs to clear one roster spot to complete this trade.

SJ & OTT all done :judge:
