Pretty simple for the Stars ... we have a bunch of young assets and very few game changers.  We think Kreider will help with that ... both now and long-term.

Pretty simple for the Stars ... we have a bunch of young assets and very few game changers.  We think Kreider will help with that ... both now and long-term.

Calgary agrees. We are building upon several earlier trades and working to rebuild our farm. Johns will heal and return to anchor our defence. Trading a young superstar in the making like Kreider makes it tougher to win short term but we're not done turning this Flames roster into a winner. Thanks MCrow and Dallas!

True, but that hit is changing this offseason, and to a very high priced one. With that said, Kreider is one of the better young forwards in all of hockey and may still be worth it.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::iatp: I got an offer from the Flames and wish I checked in to accept a trade for Chris Kreider. He's is scoring like an elite winger. Good trade for Dallas imo.
