:STL: makes this trade to sure up our entire starting lineup before we go into free agency. Adding Miller and Souza fill my last few remaining holes and I can simply add depth in free agency. Trading Hendricks wasn't easy, but I see him going forward as more of a solid middle of the rotation starter and not the ERA champ he was last season. Thanks to :TB: for working it out with me.

Tampa Bay approves.  Miller and Souza are very cheap controllable players for the near future.  Strengthening my rotation and adding depth players in Barnhart and Peterson make this a solid deal for Tampa.  Barnhart will help fill void by Martin trade and Peterson adds the cheap depth option a poor team needs.
