Post by: PsychoticPondGoons on December 22, 2016, 03:12:48 PM

Philly & Colorado Avs new owners popped each others Trade cherry and complete a blockbuster involving megastars.

SHIPPED TO LAND OF THIN AIR :COL-NHL: AVS
C/RW Tyler Seguin, $7.2m (2013-2017) Age 24

SHIPPED TO THE ORIGINAL CAPITAL OF USA :PHI-NHL: FLYERS
D Brent Burns, $7.1m (2015-2019) Age 31
C - Pavel Zacha (2015: 1/6 - 27 Games)  GP updated Dec19, 2016
Round 2 - 2017  (from :COL-NHL:)

You want blockbuster. You got one right here gents!  :toast:
Love Seguin but need new players for the finetuning job in Philly. Pavel and the pk are all potential. Burns is the kind of player I like to build around. Seguin is 7yrs younger and would've been the guy to build around but I got an offer I felt served our team well.

Thanks for my 1st trade in Philly, AntMan. :toast::toast:
Avs to confirm!

:thumbsup::iatp: Huge trade boys. Seguin is only 24? I think I dealt him when he was 22yo. Amazing shake up of both teams at the foundation.

Given the significant age difference of the primary players exchanged I think this is a relatively balanced trade with slight edge to Philadelphia if they can draft a good player with that Second Round Draft pick.
