Post by: Flash on December 01, 2016, 11:06:40 PM: Giants were looking for some depth at CI and MI, and in Garcia and Smoak, that depth has been found. Shedding a few a bit of salary is a plus. With a pair of young Cs, Vogt was able to be an asset to gain the depth the team needs. Orlando was a big help down the stretch last season, but with the addition of Adam Eaton, he was a reserve who could be parted with.

Giants confirm and wait for TC approval.
