Title: Sharks - Panthers Trade: Young Defensemen
Post by: PigsRule on August 06, 2011, 09:39:03 PM

To Sharks:
Chris Butler, $1.2m (2012-2013)
Florida - Round 4 - 2011

To Panthers:
Jason Garrison, $0.2m (2011-2012)

this is an exchanging of young defensemen with some talent. i included a draft pick to incent the deal. butler has a nice low cap hit for a couple of yrs, easy to keep or trade again. garrison has a low cap hit this season but it'll bump up next season or upon extension.

trade No.2 with sdobelman21. straight fwd and smooth again. cheers  :toast:

I confirm. I like the deal and I feel Butler can have a solid year with the move to Calgary.

Another smooth transaction. Thanks PigsRule :toast:
