Posada has certainly lost some of his production and playing time, but he's still a top 20 catcher and serves as a very solid backup down the stretch.  Good doing business with you Rob.

EDIT: Rob - re-reading your PM, not sure if you were also expecting $0.5M in 2012... just let me know if I misunderstood and we can figure it out.

The a's confirm the deal.  With Ramos, posada became expendable.  Balcolm-miller has some talent and is a good return in this buyers market.
