Title: Reds Royals trade
Post by: Dan Wood on July 30, 2011, 07:57:04 PM

Reds send
MI Barmes, Clint, $5m (2011)
+4.5 mil

Royals send
P Withrow, Chris, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Role reversal from last year where I sent Freddy Michael Brantley for Andy Pettitte...worked out for me, Brantley turned out to be decent, I missed the playoffs, and Pettitte never threw a pitch for the Reds. Hopefully this deal turns out better and Withrow can find the strike zone. Freddy to confirm.

Need this trade to help out my rotation of Gomes, Gonzalez and now Barmes at the UT position. Thanks Dan.
