This is the most exhausting trade deadline ever...

Reds send
P Krol, Ian, $0.5m (P-n/a)
P Aceves, Alfredo, $0.5m (2012)
CI-OF Huff, Aubrey, $4m (2012)
3.5 mil paid this year, 1 mil paid next year


Yanks send
OF Colvin, Tyler, $0.5m (P-2013)
OF Sappelt, Dave, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Den Dekker, Matt, $0.5m (P-n/a)   
CI Stewart, Ian, $2.5m (2013)
X-CI Stewart, Ian, Cash Exchange on Contract 2011, $-2.5m in 2011

I do this because I need more outfielders and CIs and less pitchers. Truth be told I am a big fan of 3 of those guys up there, and Sappelt keeps hitting, so who knows. All will be trade bait in the future. Here's to hoping I will some day be right about Ian Stewart...define optimist - an Ian Stewart believer. Daniel, it was a pleasure, confirm when you can.

the yanks do this deal because these guys were never gonna get on the field in NY and huff can assist in our run this year and i can hope that he gets back to normal next year, also krol will be a solid arm and cheap next year aceves can also help this year
