Looking ahead at the schedule I have an uphill battle to make the playoffs and Logan was signed as a cheap trade chip if that was case. Swapping expiring asset for future asset is a good idea in my book.

Angels approve.

Another pen arm will help down the stretch and hopefully into the playoffs.
Its worth giving up a non elite draft pick for a little extra help.

Thanks to Phillies for quick and easy negotiations.
