Post by: hockeyfreak6000 on July 20, 2011, 01:10:29 AM

Dallas Gets

1st round 2011 (9th overall),
2nd Round 2011 NYI
Nik Antropov, $4.1m (2012-2013)
Ryan O'Reilly, $0.9m (2011-2012)
Stephen Weiss, $3.1m (2012-2013)
Brandon Prust, $0.8m (2011-2012)

NYI Gets

Brad Richards, $7.4m (2013-2014)
Matt Cullen, $0.5m (2012-2013)
Josh Bailey, $3.1m (2013-2014)
Joey MacDonald, $0.5m (2011-2012)
Jason Chimera, $1.9m (2011-2012)
3rd 2011 MIN
4th 2011 Dallas

I had to give up richards and bailey who are probally going to have good years and take on a not so good contract in Antropov. But I get some great peices for the future and some cap space to play with. NYI to confirm

I lost two sweet picks, Weiss future star, Oreilly and Prust at a cheap price...Antropov was just a cap dump!!

However

I got Brad woo hoo, Bailey, a back up goalie, Cullen at a cheap price some picks and Chimera....I gave a lot but got a lot in return, this helps in the positions I needed even tho I eat like 4 million, :(

SO so happy with this trade as is Peter...thanks man for the talks :) sorry I kept ya up so later, wuss!!
