Title: D'Backs and Reds Trade
Post by: Lucas Lima #52 on February 10, 2010, 01:55:23 PM

D'Backs send:
P Davis, Doug, $4m (2010)

Reds send:
C Hernandez, Ramon, $3.5m (2010)
P Vanden Hurk, Rick, $0.5m (P-2010)

Reasons for the trade... I don't even have a catcher at my roster and with Webb now on the team, I had 7 SP... Also, Davis has a expiring contract.. Even if I gave him an extension, I would need to raise his salary and that wasn't on my plan for the future...

Vanden Hurk was a piece added to match the salaries... But he could be usefull if some injuries happen to one my top pitchers...
