The Oilers and Senators have agreed to a trade for draft picks:
Edmonton Receives:
Ottawa's 1st Round Draft Pick (#2 Overall)
Ottawa Receives:
Edmonton's 1st Round Pick (#8 Overall)
Edmonton's 1st Round Pick (From Philadelphia - #14 Overall)
This trade helps me move up in the draft and take a player who can be a centerpiece of my team for years to come. Thanks for the negotiations, RedLight :toast:

:iatp: trade is close but good enough to pass. IMO
-
Thats a big drop for the sens. The draft gets kinda weak after 10. I have to think about this one
-
I confirm. It took me a few days to decide but in the end having two first round picks was too much to pass up. I still have way too many needs and figure if I can get two first rounders I will be much better off.

i vote NO

This trade is absolutely legit. How do you veto this trade and not even give an explanation? He gave up 2 top-fifteen picks to move up six slots. This draft is not weak at all. Some of the talent is rather raw, especially the European prospects who have to transition to small rinks and puck-handling skills in traffic but there is legit prospects into the third round. Even the weaker 1st rounders(eg. Tyler Biggs/Toronto, and Jonathan Miller/ NY Rangers) are a 20/20 lock in their prime. Do some research before giving your opinions fellas.

Sean Courterier got drafted 8th by the Flyers, and popular opinion says he'll compete for a roster spot.
I'm giving up two top 15 picks to move up 6 spots... I don't see how this could not be legit?

There is nothing wrong with this trade. :iatp:
