This trade is a bit of a risk for the :SF:. Jennings is coming off an injury prone year in which he only had 98 ABs, but he's reported to be fully recovered and is slated to be the everyday LF for :TB:. So the hope is that he will be a productive middle of the lineup hitter in 2016. Maybin, on the other hand, after a great comeback year, has found himself traded to :DET: and seems a likely candidate for a platoon situation with Anthony Gose.
The :SF: hope the gamble pays off.
