Title: StL/OAK Trade 1/25/16 10:35 pm ET
Post by: MillerTime on January 25, 2016, 10:00:08 PM

The A's and Cards agree to the following trade.

:STL: receives

CI Chase Headley 4m (2016)

:OAK: receives

P Danny Duffy 1.5m (2017)
P Aaron Brooks 0.5m (P-2018) = This is the correct contract

I deal serviceable Headley for two young arms that I like.  Shed a little cap as well.

Good deal for both, appreciate it Ryan.  Please comfirm.

:STL: confirms.

Dealing from from the strength and depth of my starting pitching for some additional depth at CI. Easy deal to make as the one year deal that Headley is on leaves little downside for me.

Thanks for the offer!
