Title: Trade - Blue Jays/Nats
Post by: ThePetis on January 24, 2016, 12:05:06 PM

:TOR: and :WAS: have come to agreement on a trade:

:TOR: Receives:
SP Mike Clevinger (minors)
C Austin Barnes (minors)
RP Derek Law (minors)

:WAS: Receives:
2B/SS Chris Owings - $480K (control thru 2019)

Blue Jays make this deal to acquire a couple of prospects we like.  Owings was a reserve for us, so hopefully it won't be too much of a hit to the major league club.

:WAS: to confirm

Washington approves of the trade, I really like Owings, and need the help at ss. Thanks for the smooth deal!
