Dodgers trade:
SP Alvarez, Henderson, $1.5m (2017)
SP Musgrove, Joe, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF/1B Papi, Mike, $0.5m (P-n/a)
to Colorado for:
CI Aguilar, Jesus, $0.5m (P-n/a)
RP Kimbrel, Craig, $4m (2019)
Inter-Division trades are always hard to make and this one did take a while but acquiring Kimbrel fills a hole in my bullpen. I don't have to be as involved in pitching FA. That's a good thing. Aguilar, while blocked at this time, should eventually make his way to the Indians line-up.
I had some breathing room at SP so Alvarez is kind off expendable. Losing Musgrove may bite me in the butt though.
Colorado to confirm, thanks for the negotiations, it was fun!
