Title: yanks and sox
Post by: OUDAN on July 07, 2011, 09:30:50 PM

the yanks are once again making a move this one is basically for cap reasons
the yanks send

OF Cust, Jack, $4.5m (2013) previously paid  X-OF Cust, Jack, Cash Exchanged on Contract, $-4.5m in 2011
MI Ellis, Mark, $4m (2013)
 to boston for
OF Colvin, Tyler, $0.5m (P-2013)

we in new york believe colvin will turn it around but also like clearing the cap room of cust and ellis in the future

I do deal because I gain 2 players I can use to make push for wildcard and Colvin wasn't really in red sox long term future
