The Mets are deep in young talent. We move Kakis and Scherzer two good players that will help out :ARZ: now. The Mets hate to give up Goldschmidt a personal fav of ours. Singleton was hated by the front office... Most phillies are  :rofl: 

The Mets have spoken with Bautista's agent, and he said Jose would love to be a :NYM:

Good return on Bautista.  As good as he is I still don't think he's worth the resign value for all those years.  Someone forgot to tell him that nobody is doing HGH anymore.

Not sure if I am on the TC or not, but this looks like a good deal. NYM has tons of $ and could afford Baustia at >$20M for 5 years. Meanwhile, the return is very fair: good mix of established players and propsects.
