Title: Avalanche and St. Louis Trade
Post by: Tyler on January 15, 2016, 02:34:20 PM

To Colorado:

E. Malkin  Evgeni Malkin, $5.1m (2014-2017)
J. Hejda  Jan Hejda, $1.7m (2014-2017)

To STL

V. Namestinikov  Vladislav Namestnikov, $1.0m (2015-2016-EL) ... can extend after 15-16 FNHL Finals
J. Silfverberg  Jakob Silfverberg, $1.6m (2015-2018)
A. Burmistrov  Alex Burmistrov, $0.2m (2015-2017)

Do this obviously to add another top tier player at a higher cap hit as I had the space and youth to move. Ripper asked for these 3 and for me to take Hejda for cap purposes. Not that I like losing talented youth players like these but feel as they are expendable for Malkin.

Thanks Rip

Blues accept,

Trying to get my cap lower with a few recent moves. Malkin is the better player but I have so many depth issues it works.

Blues retooling & reshaping the team at the deadline.
Have to do something to unseat LA.
I like it!
