Title: Avalanche and Islanders come to terms
Post by: shooter47 on July 06, 2011, 02:43:58 PM

The Avalanche Trade

D John-Michael Liles, $4.2m (2011-2012)

to the Islanders for

1st 2011
4th 2011

The Avalanche do this trade to create more cap room for the free agent market and get younger. Islanders to confirm.

Everyone knows my leafs....Liles is gonna have a huge impact in Toronto next year and I want to benifit from it....yeah I gave up a 1st round pick, but I have no idea what the pick would have been right now and right now I know Lilies is a sweet d-man which I dont have many of!! :)

Thanks shooter for your patience in this trade!!

:iatp: WOW. A first pick for Liles. I hope it is not a top 5 or it will be a huge loss for the Islanders.
