Title: Minnesota Wild and Phoenix Coyotes Trade
Post by: Drew on July 05, 2011, 01:44:15 AM

Minnesota trades:
C Steve Ott, $3m (2013-2014)

Phoenix trades:
LW Paul Bissonnette, $0.6m (2011-2012)

Minny does this to get Ott off the books as I have 7 centers and someone had to be odd man out. Also clears 2.4m in cap space to strengthen other positions. Phoenix had relatively no centers so easy trade to make.
