Title: twins/yanks trade
Post by: 28 on June 29, 2011, 02:32:00 PM

twins trade:
SP Chapman, Aroldis, $4m (2012)
X-P Chapman, Aroldis, Cash Exchange on Contract through 2012, $3m in 2011, $1m in 2012
P Duensing, Brian, $0.5m (P-2012)
P Santos, Sergio, $0.5m (2012)
X-P Santos, Sergio, Cash Exchange on Contract through 2011, $-0.5m in 2011
for
MI Iglesias, Jose, $0.5m (P-n/a)
P Drabek, Kyle, $0.5m (P-n/a)
i do this to get 2 top 100 prospects and i didnt really like chapman's contract because it wasnt a prospect contract.

yanks confirm and have wanted chapman back since we traded him, we feel his upside far exceeds drabeks baised on the k #'s. his contract doesnt bother us because come time to resign him he will be cheap.
duensing will help this year i like starters that qualify at RP. also santos will help as well.
