Title: Minnesota Wild - New York Islanders Trade
Post by: Gilly on June 27, 2011, 02:35:26 PM

Wild Rec's
- John Taveres
- Mark Eaton

Islanders Rec's
- Danny Heatley

Eaton was thrown in to close the cap gap....I know I have 36 mill in cap space but it can go fast if you don't pay attention...so I made Drew take on Mark lol!!

Quick deal as always with King Drew!!

Interesting trade. Both pure goal scores but whos going to score more? Cap hit's will probally be the same after this season.

Tavares for Heatley, loving the way Tavares plays. He is currently 6.1m to re-sign and would end up saving me cap, also feel he is more worth the price than Heatley. Eaton was taken for cap reasons and will fill in on defense for this season.
