Title: yanks make one more move
Post by: OUDAN on June 27, 2011, 12:13:33 AM

the yanks finalize a deal with the tigers, this fill my batting lineup back up after my other recent deals.
the deal is

P Beckett, Josh, $8.5m (2014) yanks pay 3 mil a year, through 2013
RP League, Brandon, $1m (2011)
for
OF Boesch, Brennan, $0.5m (P-2013)

tigers to confirm, prolly the easiest negotiations i have had thanks man

Tigers confirm. Sorry to see Boesch go, but this is a good opportunity to significantly improve our pitching.

Approved.  Decent gamble for both, will Beckett's numbers fade?  Will Boesch fade like 2010?

If this deal is approved the Tigers will release -
SP Duchscherer, Justin, $0.5m (2011)   $0.5m

I typically don't see the value in pitching over a bat, but two pitchers!
