Post by: Vollmernator on November 02, 2015, 01:09:32 PM

Twins Trade
Prospect SP Velazquez, Derick, $0.5m (P-n/a)

for
OF Jay, Jon, $4m (2018)-(2.0MIL Payed in 2016) by Angels

I do this trade Because i was gonna have to drop the prospect anyways and at least I get something in retrurn a MLB player that's affordable I get another OF which I wanted. Brent to Accept

Angels accept.  It looks like Velazquez is a RP spec and I like what Houston is doing with their RPs so I do this trade to bring in a young RP to go with the stable of SPs I am developing.  The Angels are still a year or two away from competing so Jay does nothing for the team and moving him for something I might be able to use makes sense.  Thanks for the easy negotiations.
