The Detroit Red Wings are requesting their buyout discount on Ilya Nikulin. http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=236646.0 (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=236646.0)
Nikulin is was just signed to a 2 year $0.6m contract, which completely discounts his buyout fee.
Unfortunately Ilya did not come to the NHL like he was supposed to and signed a new contract with the KHL... >:(
