Sent a few offers to the Sens. They need to clear cap fast.
DD was finally around and we hammered it out.
I think Brodie is overpaid and might lose ice time with Dougie in Calgary this yr. Hagelin is also a little overpaid but he could be worth on a high scoring Ducks team for a full yr. Both still improve my roster.
Sending over a package of players, prospects and a pick all of which is light on cap but heavy on POTENTIAL especially Jonas Gustavsson if he lands the backup gig in Boston!

With the season approaching and our team in need of achieving Cap compliance we forged ahead with this trade to move two large contracts while replenishing our youth and depth.
The main objective with this trade was cap reduction and we succeeded.
