Fine tuning my Hawks roster and looking to plug some gaps on D. I like plugging gaps. LOL

Trade to :CHI-NHL: Hawks Cap hit 3.4m
D Fedor Tyutin, $2.4m (2014-2017)  Veteran Blueliner
D Jon Merrill, $0.8m (2015-2017) Young Blueliner
RW/LW Beau Bennett, $0.2m (2015-2017)
MiLR C - Zachary Stepan (2012: 4/112 - 0 Games)

Trade to :SJ: Sharks Cap impact 0.2m (calculated as $2.0 + 0.2 - 2.0 = 0.2m)
RW Joel Ward, $2.0m (2014-2017)
LW Magnus Paajarvi, $0.2m (2015-2017)
* promise to sign FA Mike Richards to eliminate SJ's cap commitment

Ward was a trade deadline addition last yr and not part of our longterm plans. Paajarvi-Larsson was a recent FA signing and I have plenty of LWs. We're not part with anyone we can't replace. Thanks for the trade BB.  :toast:

Interesting trade. Will be interested to see how Mike Richards works himself into CHI's roster.

Giving the edge to CHI here but if Paajarvi pans out (finally) this could be a good deal for SJ.
