Title: Florida and Columbus Trade
Post by: PsychoticPondGoons on September 10, 2015, 01:59:14 PM
BJs glad to mix it up.
Announce a deal with Atlantic rival Panthers to add veteran grit and nastiness to our roster!

Trade to :CBJ: Blue Jackets
D Dion Phaneuf, $6.8m (2013-2017)  :toast: :win:
RW Colin McDonald, $0.2m (2014-2016)  :taco: :PHI-NHL: :taco:
Round 4 - 2015 (from :FLO:)
Round 4 - 2015 (from :FLO:; originally :LAK:)

Trade to :FLO: Panthers
D David Savard, $5.7m (2015-2019)
D Nathan Beaulieu, $2.0m (2014-2016-EL)
MiLR LW - Dennis Yan (2015: 3/73 - 0 Games)

We ship out some questionable French Canadian players and a rookie for a plumber I love in Colin McDonald and a Leaf we all hate in Dion! Cherry on top with the pair of late picks. I'm loving this deal top to bottom!  :taco: :taco: :taco:

Florida to confirm.
Thanks for getting the ball rolling PR!  :toast:

Cats agree! :iatp:
Reopened an old trade discussion about Phaneuf and wanted to add some youth. I think Beaulieu is going to get better with time and he's still a young kid. Savard is only gteat if he can continue on his current trajectory. Need to start making adjustments to my roster before the season kicks off. Not done yet. Thx PPG!
