The Nationals and Reds have agreed to the following:
Reds receive:
CI Chisenhall, Lonnie, $0.5m (P-n/a)
P Duffy, Danny, $0.5m (P-n/a)
Nationals receive:
CI Darnell, James, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Nieuwenhuis, Kirk, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI Olt, Mike, $0.5m (P-n/a)
Nationals make this move with some risk. Darnell is having a hot year, and I'm hoping he comes up by September. Nieuwenhuis is in the same boat, and am hoping a Beltran trade in real life opens the door for him. Olt is having a great season in A ball and has shown great all-around skills, and am gonna risk that he becomes a top 100 prospect next season. All-in-all, I'm off the Chisenhall gravy train, and feel like I received a good return. Thanks Dan.

Reds agree... The only one I regret giving up in this trade is Captain Kirk. Despite his limited upside (scout's words, not mine) he will make for a very solid player in Queens for years to come. I have always been high on Chisenhall, and have grown to heart Duffy, plus I need some future pitching. Giving up Darnell and Olt was tough, giving that Darnell hasn't made an out yet this year, I feel my return is solid.
