Astros go with youth in Young for future build and to still remain in contention with the potential in Beltre. It was tough to lose up to 1700 pts in production between Ryan and Helton and with the year Helton is having Stros would probably not had the budget to resign him for next year, there was more potential in resigning Beltre that also went into the decision. I appreciate the effort that went into the working out of this deal, thanks for a deal that fit both team needs.
