Title: Sharks & Avs
Post by: SlackJack on August 27, 2015, 11:13:46 PM: 3 Grade A prospects and a good amount of cap relief for a pair of older guys.

Ales Hemsky, $1.2m (2015-2017)
Braydon Coburn, $1.7m (2013-2016)

For

LW/RW - Beau Bennett, $0.2m (2015-2017)
RW - Mark McNeill, $0.2m (2015-2017)
D - Jon Merrill, $0.8m (2015-2017)

$1.7m in cap space

Still trying to get to the cap floor....this deal helps.
Thanks BB! :toast:

:SJ: Sharks confirm!
Making this trade to bring in some new blood and shed a little cap.
Mark McNeill would've been better in the minors and will be warming the bench all season in SJ. Still a good spec. Bennett is a cheap investment at 0.2m and same for Merrill at 0.8m.

Thanks for the trade :COL-NHL: Slack!
