Title: Delmon goes back to Florida
Post by: Dan Wood on June 05, 2011, 11:04:43 PM

After starting the offseason with the Marlins, the Reds send him back there. Hoping for the marlins sake that he can regain his former glory that he had for the Fish last season.

Reds send
OF Young, Delmon, $1m (2011)

Fish send
OF Brown, Gary, $0.5m (P-n/a)

This is obviously selling low on Delmon, but I like Gray a lot, and if I am taking a wrecking ball to the whole thing, it is best to do it in one day. Samuel, thank you for the easy negotiations. Good luck with Mr. Young, he is awfully temperamental.

and the fish confirms  :judge: Welcome back Mr. Young after 6 months of changing teams  :bacon: I was in need of an everyday OF and Young seems to be the perfect fit  It is hard to lose Gary and his speed and athleticism. Thanks, Dan   :toast:

Approved.  Brown has been very good this year.
