I am in need of an extra arm.  Niemann looks set to return in a week or two and scored well last year.  Bernadina has some talent, his major league K rate limits him in this scoring application, where he is more valuable in other scoring systems.  He is young and will help the Rays out if they can deal some of the older OFs.  Mike had some extra arms, so I went after one. 

Mike, a pleasure, please confirm when you get a chance.

Rays confirm.

We like Neimann a great deal but did not plan on re-signing him at what it appeared it would take to bring him back.  Bernadina will be cheaper to bring back at a position where PT is available on my roster.  Both players come with some risk/upside...nice and easy talks, thanks as always Rob.
