Title: Phillies / Angels Trade
Post by: Jss0062 on August 06, 2015, 10:49:37 PM

Phillies trade

RP Brad Ziegler 400k 2015

For

P Brady Rodgers (PC)

Phillies are in sell mode after injuries to my staff and main offensive cogs have left me as a long shot for the playoffs. I took a flyer on Ziegler in the offseason and he came through for me and hopefully will continue to payoff in the form of Rodgers. LAA to confirm

Angels approve.

Ziegler will help with relief depth after losing a few guys to performance and injury
without paying too much in a mid level guy like Rodgers for a rental.

Thanks to Phillies.

Also, DFA Preston Claiborne to make room on 40man pending approval of trade.
