Were these guys signed to incorrect extensions? The minimum years for players with contracts between 5 to 10.5 is 2 years, and I believe that Escobar and Suzuki were both signed to 1 year deals.
-
I know that Escobar was fixed to be two years. I am not sure about Suzuki.

MI Escobar, Yunel, $6.5m (2012)
Here is the thread and how is he listed on the Phils roster. This was fixed at a later time, I believe Jake pointed it out to me and we made sure he was two years.
-
i believe Suzuki is on an already existing contract from the start of the league...I could be incorrect.
-
Escobar has been fixed. Suzuki has not.

guys can i ask for some help? i need to know rules of resigning guys in season, and how to find out how much i have to pay them....

LTD, refer to the league rules and the contracts section and it should answer all your questions.

LTD,

Then go to Fantrax and determine their ranking at their position for 2011 (current ranking) and 2010. Queue fantrax to include all of that position.
Then go to the link above and the higher of the two ranks is what you will pay.Extension years begins this year, so a 2 year extension is this year and next. It overrides the current contract.

Escobar has been fixed. Suzuki has not.
I think this is correct. Suzuki was signed to a one year extension. I appologize to everyone for the mistake.
-
Suzuki had to sign a 2 year extension, because he makes 5M. See table below from the League Rules.
Salary - Minimum Years
$20m+ - 5 years
$16 to $19.5m - 4 years
$11 to $15.5m - 3 years
$5 to $10.5m - 2 years
