twins trade:
OF Jones, Adam, $2.5m (2012)
X-OF Jones, Adam, Cash Exchange on Contract, $-1m in 2011

for

phillies trade:
OF Coghlan, Chris, $0.5m (P-2012)
CI-MI Kennedy, Adam, $0.5m (2011)
RP Accardo, Jeremy, $0.5m (2011)

I do this to get a MI that could start for me and actually put up good numbers. I also like coghlan and think him and jones will do about the same during their career.

Phillies agree.  I think Jones is a small upgrade over Coghlan.  Kennedy was expendable as I was not going to resign him next year.   I am happy with this deal as I feel I upgraded my OF.
