Title: Division rival trade blockbuster
Post by: nerwffej on May 19, 2011, 06:02:39 PM

Boston trades
MI Figgins, Chone, $3m (2011)
X-MI Figgins, Chone, Cash Exchanged on Contract (2011), $-2.5m in 2011

Yankees deal
OF Eldemire, Gauntlett, $0.5m (P-n/a)

I do deal because I get a decent prospect to help build my farm system for a player who isn't helping me and not in future plans

i do approve the deal because i essentially get figgins for free for a year and he could help at MI if he ever pulls his head out, its a gamble with a spec i didnt have much faith in so cant hurt.
