Title: Sabres and BJs Swing Deal

Thought this one through and feel ok letting Reimer go to Buffalo.
We still have Mason, Berra, and a long shot in Harding if he ever decides he wants to stop kicking walls. LOL

I wanted a shitload for Reimer because he has the potential to land a starting gig somewhere or the new Leafs coach might like him as much as Johnny Bernier. I asked for Shayne and Gus for starters and felt a big name had to come to Ohio in the deal. Shattenkirk fits the bill.  JT Miller was the toughest player to deal for us. Everyone else was filler.

:BUF-NHL3: agrees to this deal!

Getting a goalie in a deal is never a bad thing in this place. Reimer will look great in Buffalo. J.T. Miller has a dirt cheap cap hit and scores. What's not to like here. Get us a few more of these deals. Shattenkirk and a couple of spec is not expensive at all. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I will give the Edge to Buffalo for acquiring a Goaltender, a talented and extreme inexpensive young player in JT Miller and a surprising productive player in Beagle. The Sabres certainly dealt talent to Columbus in return but receive more value overall.

I think its a big win to Buffalo, I think this is the cheapest a goalie has gone in a while. But hey, Columbus is getting some good pieces back.

:iatp: Good deal for Buffalo. Reimer has an ezpebsive cap hit but thats the going price for goalies. Columbus saves cap.
