The Metropolitans acquire

SP-RP Kawakami, Kenshin, $1m (2011)
P Ni, Fu-Te, $0.5m (2011)
P Perdomo, Luis, $0.5m (2011)
P Gregerson, Luke, $0.5m (P-2012)

for

RP Rodriguez, Francisco, $12.5m (2011) + $12m

The mets agree to the deal as gregerson will step in and fill the void. The Mets hope some horribly desperate MLB gm in real life hasnt watched Kawakami pitch and looks to acquire him. Worth a gamble.

I clear payroll, space, and downgrade at RP as I no longer have Gregerson next year.  I wish I could have had Beltran, but this deal does a lot for me.
