Title: twins and mets make a trade
Post by: 28 on May 12, 2011, 03:49:06 PM

twins trade:

C Ramos, Wilson, $0.5m (P-n/a)

mets trade:

SP Carpenter, Chris, $12.5m (2011)
X-SP Carpenter, Chris, Cash Exchange on Contract, $12.5m in 2011
RP League, Brandon, $1m (2011)

i do this so i get a another good pitcher. so now i got 5 strong starting pitchers and a better chance to win the division. it hurts alot to lose ramos though

The mets accept.

Carp is one of the players the mets are looking to deal. Many teams showed interest in him, The mets like the direction of bringing in a young C with tremendous upside.

Thanks Mark for the move. Let the re-building project start :koolaid:
