Title: Buccos and Royals Trade
Post by: kungfuwig on May 11, 2011, 08:08:08 PM

Royals get

P O'Sullivan, Sean, $0.5m (P-2012)

Pirates get

SP Wimmers, Alex, $0.5m (P-n/a)

I picked Wimmers early on in last years draft thinking he would be able to move quickly through the minors. I still think that he can be a 4 or 5 fantasy starter in the future, but being in the lead at least for now in the central and losing my #5 starter forced me to grab another #5. Pirates to confirm

I am happy to get a decent pitching prospect whom I followed when he was in college.  O'Sullivan was sitting on my bench with an entire rotation ahead of him and Cecil in the minors.
