Title: New York Mets new GM.
Post by: bravesfan4 on May 11, 2011, 05:29:04 PM
I stepped down as the Yankee GM for the benefit of the league. I will be taking over the Mets. It purely sucks to go from a guaranteed winner and stacked team, to a single A club. But I love a good challenge. This should also help the league majorly.

Wow!  Talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse.  Hold your nose and stay patient.  Good luck!

Having Corey and Jake move from the Angels and Yankees to the Nationals and Mets, respectively, shows their character in looking out for the league.

Haha, well there was no way I was taking the Orioles or Angels when they came up for GM's. So I guess you can say my sacrifice will only go so far. :koolaid:

Good luck to all the new owners as of late.

Welcome to the bottom portion of the league.  You are starting out with a better farm team,  more major league talent and a higher salary cap then the Orioles I took over but we are both facing a challenge to turn our teams around.  I look forward to watching our teams grow into competitive teams in the next few years.
