Title: Rangers Extensions

Rangers sign Yordano Ventura to a prospect extension.

# 45 SP in 2014 = 7.5m X 40% = 3m, increases to 4m extension minimum for 5 years.

Per the rules, "the prospect extension kicks in the following year at the rate based on when the contract is given."  Therefore, the new contract is as follows:

2015 0.5m
2016 - 2020 4m


Rangers sign Taijuan Walker to a prospect extension.

# 204 SP in 2014 = 1m X 30% = 0.3m, increases to 4m extension minimum for 5 years.

Therefore, the new contract is as follows:

2015 0.5m
2016 - 2020 4m


Rangers extend Nolan Arenado for 1 more year.
# 26 CI in 2014 = 9m for 2019.  Years prior to 2019 remain unchanged.


Rangers extend Rubby De La Rosa for 1 more year.
# 155 SP in 2014 = 1m for 2017.  Years prior to 2017 remain unchanged.
