P Westbrook, Jake, $0.5m (2011)
P Wilson, Brian, $6.5m (2014)
X-P Wilson, Brian, Cash Exchange on contract of $6.5m for 2011

I think this is my first deal with Baltimore since Laura resigned.  I feel I am gaining 100 points per week with this move.  Just trying to keep up with the NL Central!

The Orioles did this trade for two reasons.  We had no use of Jake Westbrook or Brian Wilson this year due to the fact that our team is not competitive.  We were able to pick up a couple of prospects to improve our MI and OF depth for the future and shed the last three years of the Brian Wilson deal freeing up precious salary cap space for future moves.
